Volunteer opportunities available at Literacy Place in Bridgewater

The Literacy Place in Bridgewater offers free one-on-one tutoring for adults.  But more tutors are always needed.  If you can you give one hour a week as a tutor, the Literacy Place will be arranging tutor training classes soon with Sheila Heagney, a retired Brockton Public School teacher.  To volunteer as a tutor, please contact Sheila Heagney at 508-697-2807.

Perhaps you have other skills that would help the Literacy Place.  Volunteers who are knowledgeable in finances, organizing and public relations are also needed to help the board of directors.  Retired school administrators would be especially helpful.
