The Bridgewater Garden Club Held their Annual Greens Sale and Cookie Walk

The greens are carefully collected from the yards of garden club members. Eileen Pratti, Gina Duggan, Donna Albro, Donna Kelly and Julie LaFond stop for a quick photo during their holiday greens sale. In the background you’ll see Lois Crapo to the left and Carol Daiker Howe to the right.

Profits from the holiday greens sale will fund their scholarships. The Bridgewater Garden Club also supports civic beautification thru their dedicated work in our community. The apply their gardening skills to the grounds at Hemlock Drive and the Senior Center. They also provide beautiful arrangements every month throughout the year at our local library. This year they adorned the newly renovated Academy Building and grounds for their grand opening.

Membership Chairman Ann Wood offered an interesting fact: English Holly doesn’t have sharp barbs like traditional holly and it’s poisonous to animals. For more interesting facts, Ann welcomes you to attend a meeting or join the Garden Club.
