JORDAN is a male, about 7 years old. He is a friendly guy who seems to like almost everyone and also seems to get along with most other dogs. He enjoys going for walks and spending time in the play yard with the volunteers. Jordan also loves rolling around in the grass, playing with balls and toys! He would be a welcome addition to any family. Jordan does have an old injury to one of his legs, which sometimes does bother him – restricted exercise and short walks is recommended. He’d be happy just sitting with you and enjoying your company!

The Friends of the Taunton Animal Care Facility sincerely thank our financial and Wish List supporters and those who Liked and Shared our Face Book page of Taunton Animal Shelter cats and dogs. With your support, Friends was able to fund medical procedures, diagnostic testing, medications and special food for numerous shelter animals. These animals received the gift of a caring, loving home because you gave them the opportunity to be adopted!
Taunton Animal Shelter consistently has an average of 20 or more dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and colors! If we do not currently have what you are looking for, please leave your name and number (and an application) for future reference. We may also know of a shelter who may have what you are looking for. The Adoption Fee covers the cost of the spay/neuter and required vaccinations.
We are looking for volunteers:
Would you like to feel loved and appreciated? Are you unable to adopt a pet, but would like to spend time with them? Would you like to get some exercise in the great outdoors? Are you interested in the veterinarian/grooming/obedience training fields? Do you love animals? Please call the shelter(508-822-1463) or come on down and ask about volunteering! As of June 2017, the minimum age requirement is 18 years old. Everything from laundry to yard work, to walking dogs, grooming, feeding, fostering, cleaning kennels, etc… Volunteer Forms are available at the shelter or you may also request one by emailing paws4blue@aol.com
OUR WISH LIST: The Shelter is currently in most need of Peanut Butter, Bleach, Laundry Detergent, Purina Cat/Kitten food, Canned Dog/Cat Food (no Meow Mix), Disinfectant Cleanser, and Monetary Donations. Sorry, but we are no longer accepting rawhide, Kibbles n Bits or Ol’ Roy dog food. (We have plenty of sheets and towels at this time and are unable to take anymore until further notice). Thank you!
