Eagle Scout Beautification Project at Holmes Library

Story by Kayla Rose

Eagle Scout project in the works! The Boardman Family has been working tirelessly to beautify the Ruth Perkins Garden at the Holmes Public Library, Halifax! They installed two new benches that were funded by the Friends of the Holmes Library. We are so lucky to have scouts chipping in to make Halifax beautiful.

Due to COVID, the Boardman family did the project together (instead of enlisting lots of Scouts and trying to keep all safe). Joseph Boardman is in Troop 39 and his parents Stephen and Heidi have helped complete the project, along with his sister, Jenna. Thank you for all your hard work!
