“In 1982, more than five hundred people gathered to honor E. Joseph LaLiberte on his retirement. He had served the town well since his appointment as superintendent in 1966. When he was told that the junior high school would bear his name, he said, “I can’t think of anything that would honor me more. It is just awesome. My name is part of the town of Raynham now. I hope the town will be proud of me having served it.”
Dr. E. Joseph LaLiberte Junior High School was built in 1965.”
