Historical Tidbit: Central Square Congregational Church

Central Square Congregational Church
The Bridgewater Central Square Congregational Church, in the southwest corner of our common, hasn’t always looked the way it does today. The First Congregational Church had a typical Gothic design and was identical to the Rochester Congregational Church. Our church burned to the ground in 1860 and was replaced with the one we see today.
