EB High School Earns Second Place in the Eco-Carpentry Challenge in Boston

Shop teacher Mark Feriolo and his team of students from East Bridgewater Jr./Sr. High School took home second place in the Eco-Carpentry Challenge in Boston. Earning a prize of $1000 for the program.

The team’s third year participating in this challenge, they were particularly excited for this years Star Wars theme. The team took old furniture and turned it into useful items. Their finished products included Tauntaun rockers, corn hole boards, R2D2 gumball machine, a Kanjam set, and light sabers. They presented their projects at the District Hall in Boston. Competing against 9 other schools, the team took second place in the contest earning $1000 for the Schools program.
