East Bridgewater’s Citizen of the Year

EB’s Citizen of the Year
Mark Linde, President of the Rotary Club of the Bridgewaters, announced today the club’s 2018 Citizen of the Year Awards, the nineteenth year of this important community recognition program. Community leaders are cited for making outstanding contributions to the quality of life in their communities.

This year’s recipients are:
Patricia Snow Bradbury of East Bridgewater
Timothy Hay of West Bridgewater
Peter Kelleher of Bridgewater

The awards will presented at a Dessert Reception on Monday, October 22 at 7 p.m. at The Center at Sachem Rock, 355 Plymouth Street, East Bridgewater. The Grand Sponsor of the event is Bridgewater Savings Bank.

The net proceeds of the Citizen of the Year program are used to support the five scholarships provided to graduating high school seniors from the Bridgewaters. Over the 48 years of the club’s existence, its members have provided more than $67,000 of such assistance for higher education.

The Rotary Club of the Bridgewaters meets most Wednesdays at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast at Good Days Restaurant in West Bridgewater. The club meets off-site on the 2nd Wednesday of the month for our Board meeting and club assembly. The Rotary Club of the Bridgewaters warmly welcomes guests from all walks of life.
